You can tell he genuinely cares about the guest experience—an absolute gem! A special shoutout to Cat, the manager, whose warm personality and sharp sense of humor added such a fun and welcoming vibe to the evening. It’s rare to find a manager so present and personable. “ Was in town for a business trip and stayed at this hotel. The restaurant is on the fifth floor with an amazing rooftop bar. It was raining and cold when I was here, but I can see when the weather is nice. It is a fantastic location. The food was fresh and hot. The Service was friendly and attentive. I had the Smashburger and the dry rub chicken wings. Both were fresh and very delicious. However, the bun on the hamburger was very mushy and fell apart. I ended up eating it with a fork, but that’s OK. It was still very good. ”

“ Grain has a nice rooftop inside the Hilton hotel and you can appreciate some really cool art and sculptures, once you take the escalator you’ll find yourself with a pretty cool view of Norfolk's downtown and riverwalk. Grain has different flights; I got their Cider flight, and my favorites were pineapple cider and Austin cider. Very relaxing atmosphere and great place to hang out and see the sunset. ”
